Defense attorney blames steroids for murder committed by his client

Audrey Allen, an 18-month old baby, was killed by Joshua Allen Kruzik.
The little girl was murdered because she cried in the middle of the night. Joshua Allen Kruzik, an US marine, a friend of Audrey Allen’s parents, was invited to spend weekends at their friends’ home. Before he came to their place, he was at a local bar where he consumed much alcohol. He had to care about the baby, when she cried. But Joshua Allen Kruzik beat the child too brutally. As a result, the little girl got numerous serious head injuries. Audrey Allen died at a local hospital.
David Kohn, the defense attorney for the murderer, affirmed that steroids were responsible for the abnormal behavior of his client. It was said that Joshua Allen Kruzik used anabolic steroids. Before the incident he attempted to discontinue applying these drugs but he couldn’t do it. The defense attorney claimed that anabolic steroids caused “roid rage” in Joshua Allen Kruzik. He couldn’t not control his behavior and beat the little child. According to David Kohn, Kruzik was unconscious. However he claimed that Kruzik was ready to take the total responsibility, he added that he was not guilty.
The little girl’s parents also testified that the murderer used anabolic steroids. The mother of the child confirmed that she had syringes at her home. Thus, she injected Kruzik with steroids, when he came. Some other persons also claimed that he applied steroids.
It is strange that anabolic steroids are blamed in this situation. Are these drugs responsible for the murder? Don’t forget that Kruzen has been drunk, when he has beat the baby!
It is unclear whether the judge will accept the steroid excuse.
