Andrew Tilin notes about motivations of people that have doped in his book

The amateur cyclist and writer Andrew Tilin  received a 2-year ban. United States Anti-Doping Agency banned this person after he had admitted taking steroids for legal hormone replacement therapy. The admitting was made by the rider in own book that will be soon probably published. The title is following: “The Doper Next Door: My Strange and Scandalous Year on Performance-Enhancing Drugs” .
this book describes individual experiences of many persons who took preparations which possess performance-enhancing effects.
Thus, Andrew Tilin used the steroid testosterone for hormone replacement therapy. It is quite clear.  In fact, it is not yet clear whether this cyclist has mentioned about individual experience connected with other drugs which enhance performance.
Tilin wants to comprehend and describe in his book why persons dope. He notices the motivations of various people. Do these products help actually? These medications are quite controversial; the explanations linked with these drugs are also controversial. Since many users do not like saying about their administration, many answers on questions about doping remain undisclosed.
Andrew Tilin has been essentially changed due to usage of the steroid testosterone. He has become much stronger but more aggressive. He had to worry about his health and about the methods to lie, being an amateur rider. So, Tilin became to be involved in the doping subculture.
Writing his book, this journalist desired to explain that steroids are dangerous and lead to numerous unwanted consequences.  A lot of athletes who have taken prohibited substances criticize the author. One of critics is Joe Papp, a former American cyclist. This person was caught selling and using certain performance-enhancing drugs. He didn’t admit using prohibited medicines willingly; he was caught due to an investigation. His professional and personal life was destroyed because of these controlled preparations. Joe Papp wrote about Tilin that he had been doped for a year intentionally. Papp noted that Andrew Tilin had known that the steroid testosterone was prohibited but he had taken it. Then he wrote that these products caused side reactions in users.  According to Joe Papp, Andrew Tilin had to receive a 4-year ban.
The ban of Andrew Tilin began in March 2011.
