Inhaled corticosteroids are used to treat patients with early stages of asthma exacerbation

Inhaled steroids are ordinarily indicated to cure persons with early asthma complications.

No any child who smoked, had symptoms of chronic asthma or lung pathology was involved in the study.
Patients had to let know about their adverse results via telephone within 72 hours.  So, it was reported about cough during nighttime, wheeze, shortness of breath and intolerance  when it comes to exercises. Every response was evaluated according to a score that was ranged from 0 to 4. 0 meant no any response; 4 meant the most enhanced severity level.
Only 4 kids out of 82 the kids that were given high dosages of inhaled corticosteroids had to use systemic corticosteroids. Two2 of them were given doubled quantities; others 2 were applying the dosage that was more enhanced by 8 times than a standard one.
According to the results of the study, effectiveness of the medicines, placebo effect, supervision of doctors and treatment of patients during early stages of asthma exacerbation were responsible for acquiring good results.
