Hypocrisy fills our society that blames steroid users

Reporters frequently write articles about those that possess unnaturally enhanced muscles and strength. Reading their statements, you can notice that those who take anabolic steroids and/or other related products are harshly blamed. Such individuals are criticized in our society. They are named “cheaters”. It is affirmed that those that use anabolic steroids for bodybuilding purposes may get addiction to these products. Numerous articles also contain information linked with potential side reactions of steroids. Although certain unwanted results occur in consumers of steroids, others are not proven scientifically. For example, it is widely reported about violence and murders committed by steroid users. It is affirmed that steroids may lead to uncontrolled behavior that results in crimes. However, so called “roid rage” related to these drugs is considered to be a controversial issue.
Many individuals say that administration of anabolic steroids for enhancement of muscle mass and strength, hardening of muscles and fat loss is a moral issue. Let analyze! Is this affirmation free from hypocrisy? Why are just anabolic steroids blamed? Do just these medications make the society unnatural? Let analyze other conditions of our society! What do you think about sexual stimulants? It is claimed that you should not suffer from sexual disorders, when there are proper products to get rid of such problems. Moreover, what do you think about products for anti-aging purposes? Why should you have evident wrinkles, if there are methods to hide your age? Models and actors take some preparations but they are not called “cheaters”. Students administer some drugs in order to increase their cognitive abilities. They are not demonized too. Some scientists that have conducted some studies claim that those that administer steroids for increase of physical abilities are more harshly blamed than those that use some drugs to increase cognitive capacities. Is it fair?
As you see, our world is full of hypocrisy, ignorance and unfair accusations. May you demonize consumers of steroids in this world? May you state that administration of steroids for performance-enhancing effects is a moral issue? Be real! If you begin to blame consumers of steroids, don’t forget about other conditions in the society!
